Hey guys, I guess I'm back to making a thread talking about another issue on Assassinations and just giving some example as to why it's becoming less and less fun for me. The issue I want to address is the amount of servers available for Assassinations currently. There always used to be 1-3 servers available for Assassinations and most of the times 1-2, these servers were quite full, currently there are 5-10 available at any time of the day. (Example: http://prnt.sc/by4iv2) There is one server that has around 40-50 players and the others have 5-10, this is a really big issue in my opinion, everyone who has diamond gear keeps leaving the game when for example I get online and go to a less populated server/map. So I guess I'll give a scenario of this: I join the most populated map on Assassinations, I walk around for a bit and someone with diamond gear has spotted me. This player then types in the chat something along the lines of: iLoveYouu is here, watch out! Then he and a lot of others leave this map to go to a less populated map. I feel like the servers should go back what it was and just have 1-2 servers available for Assassinations so players can't really escape someone who is better than them by going to another map.... YES, now we get to talk about shop campers! They're so fantastic and make the game so much fun, CubeCraft should definitely remove the feature that makes you lose hunger faster whilst in the shop! It would make shop camping so much easier and it would just improve the game so much! Seriously though, something has to change in order to stop people from shop camping. Everyone starts to camp in the shops when they see me and they don't really plan on leaving it, not even when I'm on the other side of the map. If I want to get an attempt at killing someone I have to hide for around 5-20 minutes before they finally go further than 10 blocks away from the shop, and then it's not even sure that I kill the player.. I've suggested a couple of things to keep people from shop camping and I personally believe adding a timer before players are allowed back into the shop is the best of them, however TBF doesn't agree with me on this and I can't think of a better solution to be honest.. Of course I agree with him that adding this would punish everyone and not just the abusive shop campers, but let's be real here everyone seems to shop camp.. I personally just don't see a massive problem in it, players can leave the game and join back to spawn somewhere else and they can leave the shop from any side. If they don't have diamond gear they probably won't get focussed, unless someone just strongly dislikes them..

If you have some better solutions to stop shop campers be sure to comment them down below, also it would be nice to get some confirmation if things will change. If you guys are planning on changing it up sometime real soon, then just say so else our play time on Assassinations is probably going to drop by 99,99%.

P.S. I didn't die on Assassinations, and yes I am triggered, fix it.

But yeah I do agree, the servers should go back to 2 instead of 500. And there should be something against the shopcampers and potion throwers, because rn they're ruining the game. But yeah probably this thread will be off-topic in less then 3 hours like ussual because nobody cares about assassins except for 5 people! :D

Can confirm that this is a legitimate problem. We were playing on Assassins together at 3am for some reason, and was just in a server-hopping competition with another player in diamond armour who kept on leaving instead of fighting us. It's no fun killing players that aren't going to drop anything worth your time, as there is no risk of satisfaction involved in two-shotting somebody for 4 bread and 11 coins.

Also agree with the camping problem. There is no reason at all for camping inside of a shop for more than say, 45 seconds at a time, and I reckon that it should start dealing actual damage to you if you've been in there for more than say a minute at a time, so that you are literally forced out of the shop, whether you have enough food or not.

Thanks for the response <3 What you said is completely true, I personally think my idea is better though as people will bypass the timer by going in and out of the shop like they're currently doing with the hunger thing.

I realy like this idea but isn't it a little bit the same thing with PvP? I think it is because, you have 7 maps with al 0 players and a copple are about 4 and in 1 map are 30 people for example. but over all i like your idea very much! :)

The idea is great but I don't think that assassins is popular enough for anyone to care :(
Since something like this could take months to fix

I must say, I do miss the 120Players Assassins server. But that will most likely never return. But I agree. There are always 6 servers where 4 of them are almost empty.
Maybe Cube craft can look into have only one/two assassins severs instead of 6

I dont Know many things about assassination (i almost never play it) But you're right, shopcamping destroys the whole game! However, I think they dont need to remove servers, if they fix shopcamping soon, it will be way more popular! But yeah whats the solution... Maybe just remove protected areas, or add something that you have an amount of time to buy stuff and after that time you'll be spawned around 20 blocks away from the shop? Idk, but this is defenitely something that has to be fixed, +1
