Hello everyone! Today I got a little bored and I decided to make a tutorial on how to build a Boat in Minecraft! Why Boats? I think that compared to all other things I built my boats look by far the best. So let's begin!
--- The Frame/Begin ---
So before you all start making your boat, you will need to decice how wide it will be since the length can always be changed in lots of possibilities!
In this tutorial my boad will be 5 blocks wide and it will be a luxury Quartz boat so you start with that frame.
--- The Bottom ---
Now you got a basic frame but you'll need to make it a little deeper. You do this by adding a few more layers. Try to make it by making it smaller in length in every layer under the boat BUT make sure you do not keep using the same materials. Instead of making a boat 100% of Quartz, make the bottom of other colors for instance: Cyan Clay and Polished Diorite.
--- An extra layer ---
You got the bottom of your boat but you will need to add an extra layer of slabs. You can use every kind of lsab as long it matches your materials. You can aslo add Stairs on the first layer since this will most likely be not in the water.
--- The Front Window/Glass ---
Now you will mark out the place of your glass. You do this by placing the glass in front of the boat where you want it to be of course. In my boat I added Slabs above each glass block so it looks less odd.
--- The Front ---
So after the frame and glass have been added you will most likely have front with a big gap. You first start filling it in and making it the same height as the slabs. Then you start raising certain parts but not higher then the glass.
--- Starting on the back ---
To begin on the back you first make the sides of the boat. You can also start adding a few windows.
--- Finish the back ---
Now fill in the other parts of the back and try to do it the same style as the front.
--- Adding the second Window ---
As said before, I was going to make a luxury boat with multiple windows on the front. Try to add this the same way you did with the first front window. Also try adding small parts of the back on theback of the upper window.
--- Make the roof ---
Now you got a decent looking boat so far. But it isn't complete yet so start making the roof. Try adding stairs to make the roof shape a little more unique
--- The Antennas ---
To make the boat realistic add End Rods to make it look realistic. You can also add Redstone Torches for some extra decoration. Just Google a boat and you'll see it has a lot of antennas.
--- The Anchors ---
These parts are unnesecearry since they will not be seen when you add this boat in the water. You will have to add barriers in order to prevent anvils from falling and if you are in Survival or you want this boat in the water then I recommend adding Colored Glass.
--- Finish your boat ---
Now you have your boat and start changing everything you'd like to change and then your boat is finished :)
--- Your boat is completed ---
