New maps vs. Old maps

Hey,

I often see many people complaining about not being able to play the 'old' maps.
Some old maps:
Trees, Jungle, Beach, Gravity etc.

Many people (me and my friends too) prefer the old maps over the new maps. I think there is a reason behind this.

The builders are improving, all new maps are very well decorated. They look cool, but they're terrible for gameplay. People are hiding in the decorations, or on top of the middle (magic).
So I would ask if you could also add some simple maps. A map without decorations, just very simple.

I think the lobbies should be very well decorated, but the maps must stay simple, and good for gameplay.

This is not ment as hate on the Building team. The maps just look amazing, but many people are abusing these awesome looking maps.

I understand your problem. But the new players would think "Wow, this build is built by the CubeBuildTeam? I can do better." To avoid that, they improve the maps. :)
And with simplistic map you mean "Trees". ;)

The map "Vegetables" on Eggwars is horrible when it comes to PvP...

Yeah the new maps look very impressive. But they're just not ver ideal for gameplay.

Trees is indeed a very simplistic map, that's why it's my favourite map.

LOL never played that map and I also hope never to play it in my life.....

No hate or something at all,I really love the map if I'm looking at how it looks and how many details it has. But it isn't very PvP-friendly as earth said above.

Yeah I know that's why I'm not doin it... I like flat maps... like TeaParty....

In my opinion the only difference between old maps a new maps is that old maps brings good memories because every time i play on old maps i think about the good old days when i used to play with my old friends ;)
