Hi guys, it's TheBlueRanger here, and I just wanted to know what most people would do as their strategy for eggwars. I personally tend to fortify the egg first and gear up before attacking other teams, but I have rushed eggs before(and won the game). What is your strategy when playing egg-wars?

This is what I do (works on every map except rome. Also depends on the island location):
I join a teaparty and go into team green. (Thats always the team i go to)
I get the healer kit (for food) and when the game starts I hrab 35 iron. I get myself a wooden sword and 60 blocks of sandstone and rush to mid as fast as possible. Once I am at mid, I get 44 diamonds and 80 gold so I can buy a full iron armor set, a diamond sword, a bow, 16 gold worth of arrows and 32 golden apples. By that time, only 5 minutes (or less) have gone since the game started, so you can basiclly eliminate any team you want. What I do, is go to mid and farm some kills there, and in the meanwhile, I get 82 diamonds to upgrade the diamond generator until it is maxed out and for a gapple (enchanted golden apple), and then from there, I rek teams :P

I'm on the same boat as @HackersDontWin, but i have a different way of doing it.
TeaParty, which is easily the best map, over the Pink team, i go with the Healer kit and grab the Iron that is on the generator (from 32-34).
I turn it all to blocks and rush as fast as i can to middle. by 45s in the game im already there using an elevated bridge.
I proceed to obtain 49 Diamonds, 74 Gold and 3+ Stacks of Iron, and continue by getting Full Iron set WITH a Chain Helmet, Diamond Sword, Efficiency III Pickaxe, 16 Golden Apples, 32 gold worth of Arrows and Enough steak and blocks to benefict me. I can easily achieve that in under 3 minutes if Luck, Agility and Speed are really high in your favor. from there i kill every team alive starting from targeters or annoying persons i encounter before the game.

What I do on smaller maps is immediately buy blocks and build a bridge to the island next to me and break their egg. On the larger maps, I buy the basic armor and sword then go to the middle to collect 5 diamonds and some gold.
I rush mid get the diamonds and gold needed to fix and upgrade the generators on my island and then I camp on top of the diamond generator (after I build a huge sandstone wall) and watch videos. It annoys so many people.
P.S: All the diamonds are spent on gold apples :D

I mainly play with my friends so my strat depends on them Here is what it is. One person on the team is the "Suicide Killer" basically they just get a pickaxe and sword and rush people dying a lot in the process. Then I get around 45 iron and go to the middle run past all the generators to get 5 diamonds and sometimes 5 gold. I run back to my island breaking the bridge behind me and then we break all bridges to our island and just stay un noticed while we level up our generators and cover our egg. After that there are usually 2 -3 teams left (including us) so we just let the other teams fight one of them out of the game then we rush while they are weak.
I have never played eggwars, but I watched some videos of it and I got this:
1. In the first seconds of the game, get some iron of the iron generator that spawn in the beginning of the game. Then buy some blocks and go ham to the middle. When you get there first, try and get 5 gold and 5 diamonds to activate the generator on your island. Once this worked, your op as Chicken.
2. When you have enough diamonds, get a diamond sword and a punch bow. If your good at using the bow, try to punch of some of the opponents to lower their amount of recources.
3. With the diamonds you got from your generator, you make obsidian to build around your egg. Always let 1 player stay at the egg for if someone gets there to destroy it.
4. when you egg gets destroyed ( or not, depends on the situation ) you gear up and yolo onto the enemy islands and destroy their eggs. You DON'T have to kill them yet, because they could be very annoying while you try to kill them.
5. When you destroyed the enemy egg, try to kill every opponent on their island ( or somewhere else ) to eliminate the team, and you got 1 team less to worry about.
6. Try to eliminate the other opponents their eggs and players. When succesful follow these steps, this would be very easy.
