Hunters point of view:
You are a team of hunters trying to hunt down a rare species of a monster which still remains unknown. This 'creature' has lead you into one of the most hostile places on all of Minecraftia and all creatures aswell as the unknown beast are out to get you. You must track down the beast and stop it from getting stronger or evolving into something stronger. You have different classes, there is a trapper, support, medic and assault.

Monsters Point of view:
You are the Monster, your bones and flesh are worth millions of pounds, there is a team of hunters trying to kill you and claim the reward. You as the monster are of course going to try to defeat them. However you are weak at stage one. You must evolve by eating animals. Every time you evolve you become stronger and will be able to unlock a new ability. At the first stage you're vulnerable to anything. You MUST eat creatures around you to evolve.

Classes

  • Trapper
As a trapper your job is to trap the beast into a small glass dome, when it is trapped it cannot escape and you and your team must keep shooting it whilst keeping alive
  • Medic
your job is to keep the team alive, it may seem easy but it is dangerous. You have to go up close to the players and heal them. It also gets worse, as the healer the beast is your main target, once dead your team cannot regenerate their health. once you die you are out.
  • Assault
You are the fire power of the team, you deal the most amount of damage to the beast. As you do that you will probably be one of the first to die. However whilst having the most fire power you will also have the least ammount of health, so you need to rely on the medic to keep you alive. In your book, if you die it is the medic to blame.
  • support
like the assault class you deal a nice amount of damage, however you also take the most, as a support you take 20% of the damage of the players, obviously having the most health, you also rely on the medic to stay alive.

i dont know what to do for the class kits, maybe you can figure something out

I can see the concept you have going, but maybe fleshing out the details a bit more (ie. more of a backstory, class descriptions, etc). Along with this, you should more than like include which "kits" would be available, if there would be any; and which type of weapons and armour that may be acquired and/or available per class, along with a description of weapon/armour abilities. As well as including the type of "rewards" will be given and the different evolution models. Keep up the creativity ^_^

I'm interested in the monster more than anything. I absolutely LOVE the idea that you need to be strategic in how you play. If you're weak at first, your best option is to hide, to wait, to become more powerful. It's not just another stupid mindless "hurr durr pvp tiem" game like skywars or kitpvp. It's a game where you actually have to use your brain.

I thought this was minecraft, not a hunting and nature show..
Sounds way too complicated for a game like minecraft for it to work :/

This sounds pretty cool, the whole monster side of it reminds me of spore, how would the monster progress and become more powerful?
Possibly experience from animals to upgrade basic stuff like health/armor and flesh/meat to get actual skills?

If the complex ideas work, they bring in a lot of new players. If you heard of a server that had Titanfall on it, you'd want to go and see what it's like :P

This sounds like a great idea. Other than factions (witch is DEAD), CCG needs one of those games that you have progress on, goals, something to achieve and even a mind/strategic game! (as mr.tacos said) There should also be (like in skyblock) a /player top to see who is the most "evolved" player :D

Maybe the 'monster' has to kill a certain amount of animals to earn a skill point, then when they have enough you can spend them on a skill tree using the achievements GUI, like you do with role playing games. So you could have increase strength, increase attack speed, increase speed. Then once you have enough of the little ones out the way you can get abilities that bind to an item on your hotbar with a cool down, Like a shockwave thing that's an AOE attack on the hunters? :P
