The owners and the management team of CC clearly do not care about the current state of their server. The hubs look like a pile of micro transactions shoved down your throat, some games didn’t have proper updates in years, though their main competitor, The Hive, succeeds in delivering quality updates with custom blocks, music, animations, game mechanics, ect. without being hungry for money. The Java CC is still unfriendly towards new players, mainly focusing on PvP games with little to no replay value (with barely any games or maps to even play on).
All the “fun” was killed by the endless cash grab updates with insufferable attempts to earn as much money as possible from the players.
And as for this update — the existing permanent ranks are unfair towards newbies, because they’re unable to keep their ranks permanently, and as for the people who bought the permanent ranks, they don’t get the chance to use newer features and have to pay a ridiculous amount of money just to vote in Pillars of Fortune (how stupid is that!?). It’s clearly a loss-loss. (or maybe a win for CC’s pocket)
My suggestion is to revert the subscription updates (Java and Bedrock) and actually invest in doing quality updates for the existing games without endlessly updating UIs, game lobbies or releasing raw messy games.

In my opinion I don't think we're close to the death of the bedrock server but we're definitely close to the death of the java network sadly.

To say cubecraft has lots of mincrotransactions and hive doesn't is just incorrect hive has pop ups and lots of mincrotransactions too.
(I bet next update is cubecraft pop ups)

Yeah I would agree whenever I play java it's just frustrating as I suck at java pvp and a non pvp mode would be nice.

I would agree but private games definitely need to be behind a subscription based transaction or cubecraft wouldn't financially benifit. Also it would upset people who have bought the subscription.

Cubecraft started out as a survival server, so they should add a survival mode like Lifeboat.

i mean like sure, cube might be dying in a way but if u'd look at bedrock cube, thats still going strong and good, java at the other hand is slowly dying, java just have way to grindy and tryhard minigames that u need to win, if java got like ctf or minerware back it could bring more player back so that non pvp players could have fun with out having to fight as if ur a maniac xD
