Bedrock Duels Why is 1v1 so laggy?

Since a month or so, the 1v1 duels (idk about 2v2, i never play it) are very laggy. This is not because i have bad WiFi, my Opponents expirience it too and my In-Game-Friends have the same issue. Sometimes, I don't get into a Game even if i wait 15 minutes, and if I finally get into a game, both players freeze every few seconds. Does anyone know the reason for that?

I played 1v1 with my friend yesterday and it was SO laggy

It's called duels lag, pretty sure it started happening like 2yrs ago. And also happens more often in NA or AS
