I've wanted to touch on this topic for a long time, as you know it's not a secret that Cubecraft Java has few players compared to Bedrcok.
Cubecraft Bedrock is on the default Minecraft servers while it doesn't exist in Java.
I have also seen a lot of people from Youtube or Twich recording in Bedrock but not so much in Java.
My suggestion is: promote Cubecraft Java or motivate people to play Cubecraft, this could help new people from the Latin or Asian community to know more about the server.
I get that you don't care about numbers, but this would really help the server a lot.
For my part it is everything and dreetings to the Cubecraft team.

CubeCraft Bedrock is on the main servers list as CubeCraft is partnered with Minecraft, so they get the privilege of appearing in that list, which gives a lot of new players everyday to the Bedrock Network. Promoting your server on Java isn't that easy as servers get to be known mostly through videos people publish on Youtube, especially thanks to big youtube channels. Many servers have paid youtubers and content creators to record and upload videos on their servers, but the problem is that this is an expensive way of getting new players, and encouraging people to play on CubeCraft Java isn't that easy.
CubeCraft's advertisement strategy has consisted on trying to make CubeCraft the biggest 1.9 pvp based server on Java, but the amount of people playing on 1.9 servers is enormously smaller in comparison with 1.8 servers.

However, I agree with the fact that they need to do something regarding CubeCraft Java as it's downfall is more than evident in the last years.

Yea exactly. It's very unfortunate that 1.9+ does not have a big player count. In my opinion the best way to promote Cubecraft is indeed through youtube, but not through big youtubers. I would say that growing youtubers have a better chance of getting active players to cube and it would benefit cube more. They aren't as expensive as large youtubers but still get a good amount of views and have active players watching them!

Yeah, I think fast growing content creators are the best option for CubeCraft to get new players, indeed.

The biggest problem I see with cubecraft is that it is a server that is not attractive to content creators, a server with the same game modes from 5 years ago and that barely receives updates with new content for Ytubers, in this way it is very difficult to create cubecraft java content.

I agree with you. Although I feel like many players do not want changes to the gamemodes they play now. To just change all of it is not the way. Making new gamemodes would indeed be a good solution for content creators

In part I agree with you but seeing how cubecraft does things rn I don't have much hope, seeing how they invested so much time in the magic & mayhem , making a great mode knowing that they were going to remove it later seems to me something pointless. As I see the situation I see them very comfortable with bedrock, unfortunately they no need to invest money and time in java.

There is something that really helps Cubecraft and that is changing the combat system from 1.9 to 1.8 (not changing the version).
The problem is that they want something "Fresh" (although it is more obsolete on their part) and that Sentinel would have its faults again by banning innocent people.

I still think they should try out a partnership with MrBeast, he's definitely one of the most genuine people out there on youtube. Cubecraft can perfectly offer the things they are looking for meanwhile the server would get much more attention & resourcers and maybe new creators as well?

I know this is very optimistic but you never know if you don't try it (;

Cube would definitely have a reasonable amount of players again, but at this point I don't think cube will afford to do a promotion like that.

By making that change you will ruin the 1.9+ players who like that combat and the 1.8 players because its not the same at all, you can’t even do blockhit.

We'll probably never know :o

I noticed there were a lot of special games featured on MrBeast his channel that no other server has, a lot of people have been asking how to play these.. imagine what would happen if one of them would get features on Cubecraft for a limited time.

That would be amazing for CubeCraft!! The Java Network needs to attract more content creators as soon as possible in order to get more players.

Would be cool yeah, events being hosted for him thanks to cube. Cube isn't a bad server but for me it lacks creativity in some of the games.. this partnership could change everything and possibly solve many problems.

I could be very wrong as well but this is just something i've been thinking about for a very long time.

Yea it would be really good for Cube but I think it’s too expensive to have MrBeast promote cubecraft by playing there. But hey it’s MrBeast, they can always try.

Even some youtubers who play the server for once like MontclairBear which has created 1 video on cubecraft whilst telly bridging was banned in a day of his video releasing to the public because he was drag clicking and someone report him which got him banned. Regarding this ban on montclairbear cubecraft specificly went out of their way to make a exeption in the rules because normally you are not allowed to report someone with the creators own evidence as done with MontclairBear which just makes it look like cubecraft doesn't even want new content creators on their server. Same goes for a video on ItsNinjaa's channel where a friend of him (ItsKs) uploaded a video regarding his clutches and epic plays got him banned in a day because a moderator was suspisious of his clicking method. Luckely he (ItsKs) was able to make a appeal and be unbanned but i do not see a creator who plays cubecraft for one time to take the effort to appeal their bans and just scare them away from this server. All this getting banned because of your own video is not something that gives players a drive to upload content on cubecraft java including myself after i saw what happened to ItsKs.

Video's where players got banned for:
(ItsKs)
(MontClairBear)

Yea I know. But I understand that cube doesn't want drag clickers (MontclairBears audience) on the server as it's against the rules, but it's not a good move to then ban him, only causes more negative comments for cubecraft. Talking with him would be a better option. Cubecraft needs attention from the right creators and not ban players without the right evidence regarding to clicking methods.

I think screensharing/asking creators or players for evidence if they're 'clicking suspiciously' before banning would be a good option.
