I understand the need for it in the randomly-generated map survival games, because you need time to go to a position, get your team together, get supplies, ect ect.

In a hunger games fashion, were a group of chests are waiting in the center, the whole point of that initial gathering and scrambling for good loot in the beginning is pretty much taken away with this grace period.

You should feel your adrenaline going when you're running towards the center, grabbing your stuff while watching people around you punch each other, that is what hunger games is all about. Instead, it is only a race to see who can grab items faster and still have time afterwards to either follow someone who didn't pick up a sword or make their way to the next location in a fairly small map with plenty of time.

TL;DR grace period only makes sense for a randomly generated map survival games. Otherwise, the challenge is greatly diminished.

Grace period gives people a chance to pick up supplies and get out of the area.

If there wasn't a Grace Period the game would be over super quickly, making SG less enjoyable.

Yeah. I guess with the kits being implemented into the games does counter-act with it.

I do not agree with this Idea. "Grace period" is for people to pick up supplies and get a chance to get out of the spawn area. Again, I do not agree and this might not happen,and its not fair.

With kits being implemented into Hunger Games, it will never truly be fair. I have no problem with it, the server needs money somehow.

I think no Grace Period if we take away the kits with weapons that can create instant damage.

OR

Instead of 20 second Grace Period, we could have kit items only appear after 20 seconds into the game, to take the issue of spawn killing away. So, when the game starts, the people that have selected the kits won't get them until 20 seconds later, giving time for people to gather their items from chests; but still keeping the adrenaline and fun part of the game.

i agree remove the swords and axes
