The server is based on a custom network of servers. You might not know but we actually distribute you over multiple servers, different data centres and locations. Maybe I'll get @halothe23 to make a blog post in more detail. I don't know how much I can go in to :)

We have a special contract with http://downloadmoreram.com/, in which they supply us with huge servers, with large amounts of processing power, we just download all the RAM to our servers using their software that they have created. =D
