Java Upgrade The Anti-cheat

I had a suggestion before which was speaking about making two anti cheats due tons of hackers in 1.8 but it got insta deny smh

Sentinel is being a meme, open developers applications too if it's hard on loony to make it better, it doesnt even detect blatant hackers lmfaooo
i seen people using tp aura around and sentinel took a while to get him banned

so better and make it better,

i cba to mention a lot of points i got bored of these suggesitons

Yes, Sentinel isn't perfect. But at least it still does it's job. Basically keep in mind there will always be a better cheat client or bypass than there is an Anti-cheat to counter it. (Basically a cat and mouse game. Where the cat is the Anti-cheat trying to catch cheaters and the mouse is the cheat client which is always avoiding the cat). Infact, keep in mind there are a lot less cheaters (Different for 1.8 as it's much more easier to make and produce cheat-clients there) than there was before Sentinel came along.

There will always be a better Cheat client or bypass that is able to bypass Sentinel. Don't expect a perfectly made Anti-cheat that blocks all bypasses, because that's not a thing.

Wurst client even bypasses, because LoonyRules thought it would be a better idea to remove all the flying entities that are detecting killaura and other combat hacks.

Sentinel still banned what was it? Over a million hackers? That’s still pretty impressive if you see how many players they avarage have every day. Thus everyone’s complaining that Sentinel is banning players falsly and in the meanwhile it doesn’t ban enough? Like it can never okay according to you guys? If you complain about Sentinel needing improvements I wish you the best of luck by creating a better version of sentinel or by applying for staff member to fix it, because i’m sure that Looney is working real hard on improvements the best he can.

why would 1 million people want to hack in a block game? most of those bans are from people using a very crap client and having alt accounts

Lol you are seeing it all wrong. That are just the same people over and over on other alts, plus there are alot of players that got banned twice on their accounts. It's not 1 million players that have played the server. It's maybe 20k.

But that doesn’t matter as it also registers alt accounts if being logged in on at the server. So the ratio is still the same

I've hacked on more than thousands of alts, I maybe have 2k sentinel bans and I'm for sure not the only one. There are thousands of people that have the same amount of bans or even more.

Cubecraft added Plus Rank and in my opinion it works pretty good. Just go play 1.9/1.14 and you will face a lot less hackers (around 1 every 10-20 games) The moment you play on 1.8... sure you will conquer alot of hackers. Just go play 1.9/1.14 and you will be facing a lot less hackers :)
