Speed Eggwars - Golden Apples

Speed Eggwars is a very nice game, everything is amazing, the increase in speed, faster building, faster breaking. and faster egg protection! But theres just this 1 thing i dont understand.
Why are golden apples so overpriced? Cost: 5 Gold (Overpowered).
Is it for faster PvP? I dont understand..

Also, i this post in the right section? Or should it be in the report area(s)?

Because mid generators are upgraded for you in some cases (according to livestream on Friday). It's to encourage a faster game by preventing players from buffing their HP too much in the game (similar to regular UHC eggwars).

as @hyperBravo said, I think they would do this so people don't camp and get loads, therefore leaving them at a massive advantage to others.

Well, yeah it kinda makes sense because you can LITERALLY jump to mid and get resource
i mean, which mode can do that? The only thing is that it has enderpearl in normal and OP mode, which is pretty helpful, even though you dont quite use it as much!
