/spectate Command

If you believe there is a hacker you can do /spectate and it will put you in spectator mode.
You would not be able to rejoin the game and would also not be able to speak.

This has been suggested before, and I'm against the idea. I don't like spectating at all. The most effecient thing (in my opinion) to do is just record every game you start. Spectating a game wouldn't also guarantee you of finding hackers.

Its like the Same as tp but a little bit different.

This has been suggested before and has been denied multiple times due to a few reason. One of the main reasons is telling friend where people are or "ghosting". This would give an unfair advantage because if means if a players was planning to sneak up and attack a team or on anyone and a friend tells the unknowing player that they are about to be attacked... They then know.

There are pros and cons to this but I personally think the cons outweigh the pros so at the moment no one is able to spectate. That includes staff (other than assassins and ffa)

You can also "stalk people" when you die. It's not different.

Doesn't mean people cant be in skype calls or teamspeak or on discord.

Then what's to stop them from letting their egg get destroyed then spectating that way?

/spectate would be abused in game unless it eliminated you from the game by doing so. In games like FFA and and assassins a sign in the respawn lobby to spectate would work

But you cannot know if you join a spectate game, you will find hackers.

Spectating can be done after you're dead. If you'd like to investigate a player a bit more, well simply step by and say hi.
It's not that hard ;)

Players are on the server to play games and have fun. A /spectate command would be quite pointless...I mean who's going to use that when you can play games .-.

Anyway /spectate is something for staff members in ffa and assassins. In the other games modes you will have to record the hacker and report him/her on the forums.
