Skyblock Skyblock soft lock (Java)

It is surprisingly easy to soft lock yourself in skyblock on java, I put all my ore spawners and seeds in a chest, because I wanted to make an artificial island for them and was afraid that I might fall and lose them, then quickly went to the hub(for the quest) without saving my island, because I am so new to this game and didn't know that this could happen and when I went back seconds later all my progress for the past few minutes was lost, including my cow spawner and my stone and coal generators and all of my seeds. What can I do now? I have no way of progressing and I can't reset my island.

I'm pretty sure now the game stays open so when you rejoin your stuff is still there and saves every so often
