New minigame idea?

I have looked at minecraft games a lot and I decided to make my own. So at one point I thought of a game in which one player has to drop sand and bury other players while the others try to climb the sand to kill the person dropping the sand. Does this sound cool or stupid?

Sounds like fun, we could also have the dropper person can drop a limited amount of TNT to explode the players trying to get to the top, and a donator perk could be that you get more TNT to drop :)
