Mob head stuck

I finaly did the quest of getting mob heads with my friend in skyblock but next quest is to put them on your head. Well that should be easy you think. Not. The heads are glitched and the game doesnt see that the head is on your head. Also now they are stuck in my friends Inventory and het cant get them out. Is there anything that can solve this or do we now have a quest we cant succeed and a mob head stuck foreever in our inventory?

So how i did it was just place them on the ground and try again and again. Make a bug report if they are stuck.
