I recoment using spanwers lvl 1
I recoment using fall damage for all mobs exept slimes
For slimes use cacti or auto killer(lava tubes)
For pigs add lava on top

Place the spawner, wait for a tough variant to spawn, note down their health, then build the drop 2*health+3
