I think you guys should either remove the cooldown on eggwars where u kill some1, but when they respawn u cant hit them so they just hit u off the island it's so annoying! At least shorten it.

Yeah the spawn protection is really annoying the best way to deal with it is to farm the debuffer kit and splash weakness on the player before they can punch you. That way they can't do anything as they try to break their egg.

Spawn protection in eggwars is extended by the cubecraft staff the vanilla spawn protection does not last nearly as long

It should stay, I know it's annoying, but sometimes I am the one thankful for spawn protection when I am punching the stacked guy. Debuffer is the best way to go.

It gives the game a nice challenge, get yourself obsidian and barricade yourself (its not that expensive!), or have a teammate stall them.
whats up with these threads, so many lately about reducing the spawn time or removing/reducing the spawn protection!

not really lets say in 1.8 mode you spam click the area they spawn in with a maxed out weapon it would be 1 shot kills and would be unfair to players, many people would leave/quit CC for a while because of this

it doesn't matter you canspam with your fist and your sword and you'll likely do no more damage

Just saying it would be greatly unfair and not fun you will just wait at their spawn area and constantly kill them for points instead of enjoying the game... the cool down is there to give a chance to the players that spawn and some players have lag so when they spawn they will just find themselves dead and quit

What if someone got you on an island and nonstop killed you because they wanted points, or to be a troll. They could just not break your egg, and kill you repeatedly. Having spawn protection gives players an actual chance to live.
