Can i just go unlock it if i have everything or do i have to wait for a quest and if i do how do i get the quest?

How do i get to the nether?

I have everything i need to go i was just wondering if i need a quest to go unlock it of if i can just unlock it
You need resources to unlock the nether (you’ll be able to see which upon rightclicking the npc infront of the portal). Some of these items such as gold can only be obtained after unlocking the 7th island (savannah).
As soon as it tells you what you need to enter provide it and you will have access.
As others weren't clarifying, you can enter whenever you want without a quest. there is a hidden quest that gives you health potions when you enter the nether. but as long as you have the resources.
Thank you also if im on a co op and i unlock the nether can everyone in the co op go into the nether?

Heya, after a good while years having not appreciated sleep a lot, have I learned things. I have most of the times seen it as a hindrance to things such as relations and projects. But after years I realised that you need to sleep to be well. Both physically and mentally. When I also realized that I could work better and more efficiently, did I try to get more sleep.
