If you build your own pumpkin, why do you still need to include the template? Is the template the only or deciding factor?

The pumpkin has to be the one provided in the thread. You can build it yourself or download the world, but it has to be like this one:

Otherwise people will make heads instead of pumpkins. It's just a guideline which helps you to stick to the pumpkin design.
