Bedrock Fishing rods

Hi I think fishing rods should be added to the bedrock and java edition of Minecraft it will make pvp better and fights will be more intense and especially on bedrock if you get into a fight with a good player you just trade until the end please let me know your thoughts I think this would be a great add-on to the game.

Java does already have fishing rods in 1.8. Since fishing rods have no use in 1.9+ PvP, it would be unnecessary to add them in 1.9+. I'm not sure if fishing rods function the same in Bedrock as in 1.8 Java. If they do function the same, I'd definitely want to see this added!

In 1.8 already exists the fishing rod, I'm ok with add it on bedrock, but how Rick says, the fishing rod no have any use in 1.9+, but I'll be happy if they add it on bedrock edition
