A few minutes ago, I joined the lobby. It took the Sentinel anti-cheat system exactly 20 seconds to falsely ban me.
I was just hitting people in the lobby while pressing the drop item button.
Then, suddenly, I was banned for 30 days for the following reason: 'Sentinel Cheat Detection (AntiCheat)'.
A friend of mine tried again with a vanilla client — I was using LunarClient — and was also banned within the first few seconds.
I remember a friend showing me a few days ago how he was flying on Cubecraft in a livestream.
He was able to cheat for over 20 minutes until he was banned by a staff member.
The anti-cheat system did not detect the most basic fly in his client.
We have reached a point where vanilla flying is not punished, yet people are banned for ridiculous reasons.
Something has to be done. I often play on other servers that use Polar AntiCheat, and there are hardly any false positives.
I sometimes get sent back when I lag for too long. But besides that, I can play without any restrictions and there are no obvious cheaters.
At this point, I think it might be worth considering switching anti-cheat systems, as Sentinel has failed in every possible way.
