Resolved Egg Wars Duos map problem

If you land on one of the outer rings without any blocks you can’t get back. This is a problem because you can get completely trapped.

If you have an egg, you can jump to the void to respawn on your island. If you don't you'll have to ask your teammate for blocks. Other than that - not much you can do I'm afraid. Some maps are designed that way
