It's easiest from the Laby Mod. Download it and then you get the Damage Indicator. Link: https://www.labymod.net/downloads

if you do any player reports using labymod in the report will get the report automatically denied so i dont suggest it try looking on the Minecraft Forums for a damage indicator you have a better chance of finding one there @iiRoyy
