Bedrock Can u craft shields in skywars bedrock

Ya I was just wondering I’m too lazy to smelt iron in skywars

As of about a week ago, this bug has been patched and shields are now craftable. Certain games however may have them disabled though, more of something you'll have to try and see based on the game.

They are craftable. However, I have had no success using then in my offhand. Additionally, the way they block damage seems to be finicky and I still get hit a lot even when using them.

I have found some success with them in blockwars since you can block while taking the flag and take less damage, but I dont really see any use for them outside of that in their current state.
