Bedrock Blockwars inventories

So you know how in Minecraft on a console like a Nintendo Swich, it can take a bit to switch to different inventory slots? As the game was starting, I organized my inventory, putting my blocks and sword next to each other, but when I died, it got reset. Is there any way to keep inventory slots the way they are?

I don’t think there is an option to actually keep your items in a certain way.
