- Ex-Sand Castle - Name references Monty Python's "Dead Parrot" sketch. Namely, the famous line "This is an ex-parrot!"
- Forlorn Footwear - Flavor text is a reference to Guardians of the Galaxy's Groot
- Lily Pad - Flavor text is a play on words on the popular iPad smart device
- Rusty Bucket - Flavor text is a reference to Bukkit, the software many servers used to use for their plugins. It's been mostly replaced by Spigot, a newer, arguably better replacement for the software.
- Disturbingly Buoyant Pebble - A semi-reference to the scene in Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail where a peasant suggests that small rocks can float.
- Nether Starfish - Flavor text is a reference to Spongebob Squarepants' best friend, Patrick Star
- Sunken Sea Shanty - Flavor text is a reference to Nirvana's hit song, Smells Like Teen Spirit
- Beach Towel - Flavor text is a reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Ford Prefect cites a towel as the most important thing a galactic hitchhiker can carry with them.

- Li'l Iceberg - Reference to the Titanic, which sank after striking an iceberg

- Captain Cubebeard's Cap - Reference to the famous pirate captain, Captain Blackbeard

- Impressive Pearl - Reference to the phrase "Cast ye not your pearls before swine." Also a reference to the comic strip Pearls Before Swine.

- Lutefisk - Reference to lutefisk, which is a fish dish made by soaking fish in water and lye, or sometimes birch ash.

- Fizzy Raspberry Juice - Reference to the Spongebob line "This is an extreme thirst!"
- Dormant Warhead - Reference to Lost Saga's relic item, Nuke Fossil
- Lucy's Skull - Double reference to the Beatles song Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds and Lucy, a famous hominid fossil named after the same song
- Mayan Calendar Fragment - Reference to the doomsday theory predicting the end of the world in 2012
- Love Boat - Reference to The Little Mermaid's song "Kiss de Girl"
- Heart of the Ocean - Name of the priceless jewel featured in The Titanic

- Lighthouse Lightbulb - "Keeps the beaches shipwreck free" is a line from the They Might Be Giants song "Birdhouse in Your Soul"
- Ocean Stone - Double Jojo's Bizarre Adventure reference. Part 6 of Jojo's is titled Stone Ocean and features a stand named Diver Down.
