Because all 1.8 players are going to Hypixel instead of CubeCraft. Plus doing this would meant the CubeCraft team have to waste resources and it's not worth doing at all because it's gonna fail anyways.

I don't think that's a possibility for the CC team to create nor do I think it's worth implementing. If you think about it, Eggwars is a super competitive gamemode. People do not have time to type out some numbers just to buy a specific amount of terracotta (or hardened clay).
