the launch gets you 3 blocks forward, it takes even longer to launch the player than if they just sprint-jumped normally

When you start the parkour, the speed is removed. That's still a quarter of a minute wasted on getting there. If you play 4 games, you would waste a full minute. If we can skip 5 seconds with the speed effect every time, we could play 6 games but waste the same amount of time on the lobby...

Not pre-game lobbies, just server-selection lobbies. This would shorten the time between entering the lobby and going into a match. I can't really see any downside to this.

I don't really have a problem with lava spam, but my game has an awkward delay of 3~5 seconds between when I respawn and when I can start moving. This means that during this 3~5 seconds I am unable to move or attack, and people can farm kills off of me, so I'll support this.

I'm no expert but I think you need to tag the person you are replying to And the deathmatch message is broadcasted to everyone then?

Does the item have a cooldown? For example, if the item was activated and no one hits you within 1 minute, does the item simply run out?

We could double the health for players to make the fight last longer. A friend of mine is too scared to play that game on the other server you're talking about, because he's one wrong kill away from getting banned. He's not even RDMing, he's just really bad at judging who the traitors are...
