If it's made public, people can buy it; it's not meant to be bought.

On the marketplace you can't pick and choose what audience sees your content; if you put something on the marketplace, it's there for everyone to see/buy.

An SMP mode would not work out well, would require 10x the current moderation, no players would follow rules if there was any, and also hackers would ruin the experience.

It's bannable already; once a cheater is banned, they will be removed from the leaderboard, and a stats reset will take place for the account that was cheating.
