The sword ability, Freeze, which can be argued to be one of the best abilities, does work on flying entities (if I'm not mistaken), and yeah, you have a bow as well to help out on that regard

I recommend getting tower upgrade paths. Then once you get them all, then get the Sword and Bow upgrades. The default sword ability is really good, freezing mobs is really good. But if there is 1 bow ability you should get, it is the bazooka if you can aim

After playing the new map, although it may seem physically long, I would say it is a good length, with maybe a touch too many 5x5 spots and a bugged 3x3 spot which doesn't work for placing any towers (ill make a report when possible). The new map, isn't that bad, I like it a decent amount
