I've mostly been collecting Lego City sets, though I have a few Creator and Technic sets as well. And not to forget some vintage stuff that my dad owned when he was little!
I got my first Lego set (the 7897 train) for my 5th birthday because my dad really liked it (he still loves Lego too). Since then I've asked for Lego every year as a kid. Now I have a Lego room with a whole Lego city
That’s really cute and cool I used to enjoy Lego but since video games exist I spend more time with them.. and the fact that Lego is EXPENSIVE.
Only got my Star Wars X-wing left and it was discontinued so it’s holding its price
Yeah I have to admit that I spend more time playing video games as well now. Lego is way too expensive, I wish I could get one of those bigger, more detailed Creator Expert buildings but I don't have that kind of money :c I've never really been into Star Wars myself tbh but the Lego looks pretty cool, I get that a lot of people want those sets!
It’s a shame really because Lego is such a great way to make the mind be more creative. Like have you seen those Lego master builders on TV and think that’s insane. However if we didnt play so much games we could probably be that good and that would be nuts
Yeah it's amazing what people can come up with using their creativity. It really is a shame that people are losing their creativity because we're so addicted to screens nowadays. Honestly, finishing one Lego build feels 10 times more satisfying than winning 10 video games. But since Lego is expensive and video games are just one click away, it's much easier to go back to video games at the end of the day
Yea I completely agree. Like you can pay £20 for Minecraft forever or regularly pay extortionate amounts for Lego. But it seems you are keeping some of your creativity, well done to you.
