It’s not about the presents. It’s about the gezelligheid. Christmas is too much glitter and glamour. As long as we can just celebrate it together, i don’t mind any changes. Sinterklaas is 1 day of 2 days which makes it more special, too

With Christmas you can decorate your house far more and imo people come together much more then Sinterklaas

Nonsense. The discussion can easily be solved. Change the appearance. What’s left is the same awesome holiday. Which also includes the poorer people. Instead of christmas which is just a reflection of American capitalists

Christmas joy can be shared with people outside NL and BE as well. It's much more fun because there's,again, much more decoration. There's also a lot more hype. With Christmas you have a big diner with your family, I've never seen or heard anyone do that for Sinterklaas

With Christmas you buy a new outfit. There are special clothes for Christmas. I've, again, never heard or seen anyone do that with Sinterklaas
