Spain is one of the best countries to visit. Good people, culture, mediterraneous, good climate... Also good to study at if you are an exchange student.
As for my opinion, I'd say studying in Belgium is a very good thing. You do not need to study abroad. But if you absolutely must, I would recommend the Netherlands purely because of sharing the same mother language and because it's good in general, America might be a good decision... if you can afford it? Don't go to Asian/Middle Eastern schools.
I am in no way obligated to study abroad but I really, really want to. It will cost me thousands upon thousands of euros/pounds/dollars (ten thousands possibly) but I hope it'll be absolutely worth it (1/2)
Obviously not going to the Netherlands though.. Currently thinking about New York, London and I also want to visit Asia (Tokyo, ..) I'd be doing this for the sake of getting away from my own culture, obviously not going to holland then :p (2/2)
UK is kinda bad, their education isn't the greatest either from what I was told; New York has the *highest* tax rates so if you can afford it then go at it, but be careful.
The US has a lot of bad areas which you should avoid, I don't know them all myself, but just before you go, try to look up the safest regions and go there? Cause there are some places where it's all just gangs and crap
