Other than Optifine on low settings, there are a few things that could help.
Have you dedicated enough RAM to Minecraft, and if not, do you have any extra RAM that you could dedicate? Here's a tutorial: https://goo.gl/LeRf6V
Aside from that you could also look into light resource packs to boost FPS.

@CheatersDontWin that's a good tutorial, but I am a Mac user ._.
@Gainfullterror That RAM method isn't really recommend since it will 'overload' your Minecraft and will slow down your PC in general. That's the same for overclocking your PC. But yeah, a light resource pack would be another method of boosting your FPS. As I said before: I will update my thread with a couple of new methods. :)
You can try and type %temp% in the windows menu , you will see a lot of files over there. Those files are all just random files, the files have been used to download things but they 're no longer needed. You can click ctrl+a to sellect them all and then you can do ctrl+delete to delete all the files that were just used temporary.
