Hey CubeCrafters!
Super Competitive Duels are finally here, splitting casual play into its own queue while bringing in dedicated competitive modes with leaderboards and brackets.

To help you secure that Star bracket and climb the ranks, here are some some of my tips for mastering each of the four competitive kits (base on my opinion) :

1. Crystal PvP
Secure the High Ground: Place obsidian and crystals below or around your opponent to avoid self-damage while maintaining control of the space.

Smart Shielding: Use your shield to block sudden point-blank detonations, but stay alert for opponents attempting axe breaks.

Time Your Breaks: Avoid spamming crystals; instead, wait for your opponent to step into the blast radius or catch them mid-air.

2. Sword PvP
Master Sprint Resets: Use W-tapping or S-tapping to control knockback spacing and dictate the tempo of trades.

Bait and Punish: Step out of range to cause your opponent to miss, then strike during their recovery frames.

Monitor Health and Attrition: Track your health trades closely and manage your gaps efficiently during prolonged fights.

3. Soup PvP
Streamline Your Hotbar: Keep your soup bowls mapped to easily accessible keys or directly next to your sword for instant healing.

Manage Inventory: Keep track of your bowl usage so you never run completely dry during a heavy trade.

Play Aggressively: Use the rapid on-the-go healing mechanics to keep constant offensive pressure on your opponent.

4. Mace PvP
Leverage Wind Charges: Propel yourself upward during the fight to stack up huge fall-distance multipliers for massive damage.

Watch Your Elevation: Always look for opportunities to gain height, as even a moderate fall can chunk a large portion of enemy health.

Punish Whiffs: Capitalize immediately if your opponent misses a high-fall smash while they are vulnerable in recovery.

it's a damn shame that it has taken so long for the TD game to be re-released in any form
