Bedrock Kills in Skywars Should Give you XP

Skywars in general whether it's java or bedrock is probably the most difficult pvp minigame along with duels/ffa. With that being said for a lot of new players it's incredibly hard to gain xp since the only way to gain xp in solo sw is through winning. I checked a lvl 18 skywars player's stats the other day and they had around 230 wins with like 2,0000 games played, to put that in perspective that's like an 11% win percentage so this player could play all day and only get a handful amount of xp. This is why I think kills should give you some form of xp, I also think it's ridiculous that I can lose a game with like 8 kills and someone could win with 1 kill and get more xp than me, I think doing this will also cause people to not play so defensive and sweaty, because with kills giving you xp players won't have to try super hard to get a win. I would like to know what other skywars players think about this, I also am pretty much just a skywars one trick so I have no idea how xp works in other game modes so I would also like to know if the xp in skywars is comparable to other pvp minigames.
