I think the majority of the people who were upset by the recent changes changed their mind, or moved on. Maybe OG eggwars could return in a future eggwars season down the road.
Very unlikely. The playerbase would be split up even more. This change would make starting games take a lot of time and could make some modes dead at some periods during the day.Wouldn't it be nice if you guys bring back the OG Eggwars as Speed Eggwars

It would be nice to see it make a return, but it is highly unlikely it will :(. I’ve moved on and simply don’t play EW anymore.

For those concerned about 4 team maps for BedWars Solo and Duos, I doubt they'll be going anywhere. Remember, those maps are designed for both Bedrock and especially Java. If 8 team maps were to arrive, they'll be Bedrock exclusive and can coexist with the 4 team maps without replacing them.
