Seems like a duel should be kept even, I'd assume people join the PVP games for PVP, so making it unfair from the base up seems kinda eh

I do understand what you mean, I just can't agree.

I always thought it made the game more fun, since its so hard being a human. It's a sort of "how long can you survive the hoards of monsters" style. It makes actually getting a win as a human feel even better.

Ahh, but shields do block the KB of arrows. Early game bow kills can make a huge difference in the length of a game, and the cheaper the shield is, the more players that have access to it early. If less people die, then the game'll last longer. At least thats what I've seen in a lot of my games...

I've always thought that no projectiles made it easier to kill camping players.

Hi guys! I thought it might be appropriate to do an introduction thread, since I've been gone for quite a while. It's strange to see all the new people, but nice to see some old friends. Can't wait to get back into the community.

Seems like another way of adding more stall to Eggwars. A game can already last a HUGE amount of time (I've had 8+ hour games), making shields even easier to obtain can allow players to get a shield earlier, which means less early KB kills, which means even longer games. I can see the appeal...

Definitly think this would be a great addition!

I thought it always added an extra layer of difficulty to the game, made it more fun.

I've always been ok with just the "Quickly" villager on the side of the board for most games. In my opinion, that mostly serves the purpose of a play again feature.

Im my opinion, many eggwars games can end up lasting too long. An possible increase in the time a game would take wouldn't be any good.
