Hello, yes you do get to keep your original lifetime rank if you decide to buy a subscription rank and after it expires

We have no plans to change back to a permanent rank system. Yes it might bring more money to pay for servers, staff, other things in the short term but subscriptions bring in more income in the long term and more affordable for more features.
