Maybe a mix of 2 and 3? So it can be enabled/disabled by default in the profile settings, and then can be edited in a live game witha... -

That's a good point; as a Java player, I didn't really think of that. On bedrock the setting might need another way of changing it then.

Although clicking on it would be good, it's not a plausible option for people playing on Consoles, as they can't click on chat

I loved the community games but unfortunately they’re gone. The last one was in September 2020 which is too long ago and I miss them. :(
