I wouldn't suggest using Eclipse being that it doesn't provide resources which are needed. IntelliJ or Netbeans is a great alternative

In all honesty, being a Developer requires extensive knowledge of Java and Spigot. You have to be able to adapt to Coding complex Minigames to fixing bugs. The best way to learn Java is by using Oracle. That would be a great start! You can find that website by clicking HERE
