So if you know me, then you'll know I've been here for a very long time, and miss the #OldCCG (Anybody else remember that hashtag?)

Obviously the management team aren't keen on returning to old times, which is fine, but how about giving us veterans a little something for sticking around for so long?

Bring forth the Blast from the Past Update!

This will be a map update that uses the old lobbies, and makes them into a map for their corresponding game.

Skywars
The Skywars map would obviously be that huge island in the middle, with the hot air balloons that used to be situated across the sky being repositioned to form the islands. It will be a twelve-player map.

Arcade
The Arcade map would be that massive literal arcade, and will be added to Paintball, Barn Brawl, Line Dash, and Wing Rush (Sorry Spleef).

In Paintball, the entire map will be available to you. The spawns will be behind the Spleef and Quakecraft machines, with CTF flags being situated at the front of said spawns. In Cubezone (Coming soonTM), the zones will be in front of each machine, as well as the centre.

In Line Dash, you'll sadly be limited only to the air-hockey table; you won't be able to venture off to the machines themselves. The spawns will be in front of the large piranha plant and between the SCB and HG machines.

Admittedly I've never played Wing Rush nor Barn Brawl, however I know enough about them to know that they'll be compatible with the map. I imagine Hoop Mode of Wing Rush would be fantastic on here, having to weave in and out of the machines.

Survival Games
Because the old fish tank lobby wouldn't be able to stand as its own Survival Games map due to its size, why not splice it with the old Ultra Hardcore and PvP lobbies as well? You'll have three retro lobbies turned into one map, with natural terrain separating the areas and making them feel natural. You could even use them as three separate spawns, with say, four players at each with only a couple of chests in each cornucopia.

The HUB || Christmas 2017 event
This is an idea that I proposed last year, after finding out that backups of the old maps were kept (Another reason why the Blast from the Past Update should happen; the builders already have the original maps to work with; no rebuilding them from scratch). Basically, you'll have the three most recent HUBS (Frozen, the sky map from 2014, and the current one), alongside some of the most popular maps and lobbies from across Cubecraft's history. The player will have to explore each of them to collect snowflakes, golden cubelet fragments, and silk. You can find fifteen snowflakes in the Frozen HUB, ten golden cubelet fragments scattered across each of the retro maps, and silk in the current HUB. None of these items will be exceptionally difficult to find, since the event is about exploration and celebrating Cubecraft's history.

Once you have found everything, you can take them to Cubey, the old mascot (A baby ocelot) who is now all grown up. Cubey will be situated in the old Parkour lobby (yet another thing that the player must find), who will use these materials to construct a golden cubelet. This item will then be given to the player, and can be redeemed for a bundle of loot at the golden cubelet machine.

Rewards will incude:
-Either 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 points
-Either 2,500, 7,500 or 15,000 experience
-Five Common Cubelet rewards
-Two Legendary Cubelet rewards
-One Mythical Cubelet reward
-An equippable kill message: "Player X was iced by Player Y"

Obviously due to the sheer size of these map, certain parts of them may need to be cut. This could however be a good thing, allowing the builders to combine them more naturally. Alternatively, a teleport pad could be hidden somewhere in the first map, giving the player yet another thing to have to find to advance to the next area.

I absolutely love this.
Although I'm not an oldie here, it'd be fun to venture back and explore old lobbies. I love the idea of implementing old lobbies into game maps.
Thanks for coming up with this, it is amazing!

I saw this earlier but wanted to see other people opinions first.

Honestly as a player who first joined early 2015 (I know it's not really early on server wise and there are so many people who joined before but :p ) I love all of these ideas. It would be great to see some of the old lobbies again because to be honest I do miss seeing them and running around them a lot.

What did excite me a lot was the SG map idea :P Half because anything to do with SG I'm interested in as it's my favorite game but also it would be so good to be able to explore them in game again.

Something else though that really stood out to me as a good idea and an idea that could be brought forwards in so many ways was the custom kill message reward. This is such a good idea, if built on afterwards it could create a whole other vanity waredrobe which could also mean the possibility of donor exclusive perks. Also because this is something that can be changed so easily there is the opportunity to create so many different ones so you could have your own personal and almost unique kill message.

Those are the few main things I wanted to comment on, otherwise I can just say I love every idea that is in this thread :P Its just all down to how willing the staff are to bring back these old (and amazing) memories.

Love the ideas! Would give newer players (like me) the feeling of the #OldCCG, like seeing how it was back in the good old days! :)
