So I tried /tell today and it didn't work i did that /tell <player> <message> and it says player not found?

/tell currently works for me, You most likely mistyped the player's username.

Either you mistyped the name or you tried to message a player that is not in the same lobby/game.
You can message a friend in any lobby by using the /fmsg.
