I think that 1.8 players should also be able to play on the PVP minigame. For me, it is more fun to fight in 1.8 rather than 1.9 or higher. I am sure there are others like me.

Dunno, the kb there is pretty different from normal 1.8. But I rather not have that. Block hits are pretty pointless in PvP, especially in 1.8. Otherwise the gamemodes remains the same.
Thats true, you can't join PvP in 1,8 but there is a "Classic mode" in the 1.9+ versions with 1.8 PvP combat!

You are able to PvP in 1.8 in 1.9+. There's an option for that in the armourstands in the PvP lobby :)

I actually support this even though I mainly do 1.9 PvP. The bow arcs are completely different between the two versions, the knockback is different, hitboxes are different, splash potions arc differently as well, ect. When I do play "classic" I prefer to play on a 1.8/1.7 server just for these differences that make "classic" PvP.

Cubecraft is not really familiar with pvp.
But 1.8 is a very nice versie for pvp! ;)
