Hackers in Everything (Suggestions)

Hello, I have been faced with several hackers. I do take videos of their hacks from time to time, but it uses up so much time and takes so much internet to process and send the video to report. Hackers include HomonBeLike, _BleuLeopard and several others. Can you (Cubecraft Team) find a better way to report people? Something like a /report then type in name? I always enjoy playing games but when Hackers come along and call others hackers or cuss a storm it is not much fun. I look forward to a day when mods or something will be banned from this server.

The /report command has been suggested many times before, but it is too easily abused and too much of an annoyance to moderators. People would just /report basically anyone who kills them, and mods would constantly be spammed with this. The new report system is already amazing, and reporting them on there works very quickly.

Like Eevee said, kit farming. People would spawn in and stock up on, for example, golden apples in hardcore mode. That is insanely over powered. Also it makes taking people's eggs out easier. If your opponent had the shell cracker kit, it would be almost impossible to break their egg without obsidian. It is just an unnecessary annoyance they nerfed and I am extremely thankful that they did :P

Well, kit farming would be a strategy though. If they want to spam their golden apples instead of buying things, that is their problem. It gets them behind on the game.

It doesn't get you behind in the game at all. You pick up your iron, throw it all on the ground, jump off and repeat. And BAM! You are ahead of everyone else. As for abusing the report button, people are just too irresponsible. Moderators would be banning more /report abuses than actual hackers, and that would just defeat the entire purpose of the command. Also, how would moderators check if the people mentioned in /report are actually hacking? It's not like there are thousands of moderators who can just drop everything and follow a player around just because someone believed they are hacking. It is just better to get a short, but obvious, video of the hacker using their hacks.

I just wish the team could find better solutions. Maybe just ban mods all together. So no one can get their fly hacks or super spam.

Maybe you could record all the hackers, and then at night, start all of the processing of the videos. When you wake up, everything will be done and you can make your reports.

But that is the problem, you can't tell if someone is using mods. All you can do is just catch them using their hacks. Too bad there isn't any way to detect someone's client so you can see what they are running and auto ban them, but we can dream :P

Also, what if you cant get video evidence, you record the hacker but he only fly hacks once or so, without you recording it, what can you do then? Just let it go?

In that case, I would continue watching him closely, but if he doesn't hacks again, there is nothing you can do. Best to just let someone else catch him. :(

But seriously, there is a way to detect someone's client...theoretically that is. Badlion's working on a program that can detect modded clients, meaning it should be possible to have the server catch hackers before they can use their hacks.

They're already having trouble with hackers. What about 10+ hackers in 1 game? Someday this'll happen.

I know they won't allow hacks. That's why the second part of the post was serious.

What's the point of a minigame server if everyone hacks? Also, they are severely cutting back the number of hackers. I barely run into any now, and some are actually getting kicked by the anti-cheat. Just today, I got teamed up with a fly hacker. He flew over and took out 2 neighboring eggs, and then got kicked. :D
Now I don't know too much about anti-cheats, but wouldn't the system Badlion is working on also prevent mods such as optifine, damage indicators, armor hud, or rei's minimap?
