Recently, a new line of text was added above the reward chests that state how many rewards you can claim. This is great for an obsidian rank, but very inconvenient for any other ranks. To show you what I mean;

It claims that I have two rewards, but when I open the chest it shows this;

Because I am a Diamond rank there are two rewards that I can not obtain which means that I can not get rid of the line of text claiming that I have rewards. My suggestion is that this new line of text only include rewards that you are eligible to claim. I.E. If I am a diamond rank it would say "You have 5 reward(s)!", or as a stone rank it will say "You have 1 reward(s)!" This way it saves a little confusion and inconvenience to those who do not have the highest rank on the server. Opinions?

I agree with this idea as it can be confusing at times as to how many rewards you can actually redeem. +1, awesome suggestion!

I'm sure this is just a bug, cause they wouldn't purposely do that, would they?
Well I imagine that it was rushed, similar to most of the updates this month, to get it out on time and maintain their schedule, thus pleasing the community. Perhaps this actually was intentional, seeing as technically it is correct; there are x rewards that can be claimed, you just may not be able to claim them at that moment as you don't meet the rank requirements to claim them. It doesn't seem like the kind of thing that the developers would over-look.

They probably didn't think about it when they wrote the code. I wouldn't either. And that's considered as a bug.

Personally I like the idea a lot as I have yet to purchase a premium rank so I am only eligible to claim two rewards. However, thinking from a monetary point of view, it may be beneficial to leave the line of text as it is. Having that line of text and having a player open the chest to claim their rewards shows them what rewards they could be getting if they purchased each premium rank - the ranks self-advertise themselves in a sense. A player seeing what they could potentially get can act as an incentive to purchase a rank as the perks of that rank are much clearer and now have a sense of realism. When you purchase a rank all you see is text of what you will be getting but when you see proof of the perks in-game, psychologically they become much more real thus creating a bigger incentive to buy them.

TL;DR: They're annoying for some players, but they are actually useful in encouraging people to purchase ranks.
