Mainly because these are the biggest maps, I'm pretty sure Bones doesn't have that many diamonds though.

It has 5 diamonds per island and they are pretty easy to mine so yeah.

There isn't really an underground to it like the other maps, It's just short stairs to a chest.

I agree but you can still mine and yeah. There are also about 13 diamonds in mid.
