It is basically like regular survival with maybe MCMMO and other plugins. Not like factions, there is no pvp unless both users want to duel or something. Its mainly economy. I like those kinds of things, peacefull but I can still interact with users.

Mcmmo is a reasonably op, if someone farms axes or unarmed, it become WAAAAYYYY too op, making it quiet unfair. However perhaps CCG can make their own type of mcmmo. ;D

Yeah I think so too, but the Idea itself isnt that bad, just the adding of the "McMMO" plugin wouldn't be recommended.

What I mean, there are many categories that people spend points on, for instance: Archery 1 1,000 points., archery 2 2,000 points. You can only buy one at a time. The most op people I can see has the most points and didn't spend any after the EULA (I lost 100,000 points, but I didn't care tbh)

Mcmmo doesn't have to be added, just plugins that will make things fun interesting, and fair. Maybe plugins that will enhance survival ability like tree falling and things like that.

Tree falling makes it easy to get apples, making God apples go around the survival server like a disease..

Instead of the duel thing, maybe it's an arena team battle thing, you don't choose what to pvp with, the gear is given. And god apples won't be much of a problem if It's mainly PvE. However, we need tweak things incase people want to make a 200x200 area pig farm or 12 iron golem farms ontop of each other so no one can crash the economy.

McMMO is literally the worst plugin ever in my opinion. It rewards grinding and farming and severely punishes newer players:
Oh, you've only played on here for a week? TOO BAD. I'VE BEEN AROUND FOR 3 WEEKS. I HAVE CHOPPED DOWN MANY A TREE, AND MY STONE AXE SHALL VANQUISH YOU IN ONE SWING. I AM XX_SUPERPROBRO_XX, CHOPPER OF OAKS AND PUNCHER OF PIGS.

I like the idea of leveling up and having a long-term goal, but McMMO just does it horribly. I think a game should discourage grinding, farming, and otherwise not playing the game the way it's intended to be played. "Let's make a game where the player goes AFK for 5 hours then spam-clicks a bunch of monsters, then repeats!" said no game designer ever. Players should be encouraged to do amazing and incredible things, like fighting an enderdragon or exploring a mineshaft. You can literally reach the maximum combat levels in McMMO without killing a single hostile mob.

If you want to make a survival server interesting, I've found that adding custom gear/items/mobs does that job very well and very simply. Minecraft has tons of unused features like potion effects, mobs, item attributes, and enchantments that can be added fairly easily. This gives us the ability to make several different types of gear. Rather than having diamond armor/sword/tools as your end-game best gear, you can differentiate your armor types a lot. You can have leather armor that gives you a speed boost, chainmail that reduces knockback's effect, gold armor that gives you more than 10 hearts, wooden pickaxes with efficiency 10, and the list goes on.

I totally agree, mcmmo is a horrible idea, we could have a level system which gives some cool things but nothing majorly OP, we could build racetracks based on mob AI or some jazz like that or have best building comps every week. it should be a server where people work together for a similar long term goal. And we should limit things the average crafter could do so they are not the most crazy OP rich guy on the server.

The custom gear seems like a great idea! Maybe it can be won by winning a contest or finding a treasure chest randomly hidden throughout the map.

Okay. This "best building of the week" doesn't work. Perhaps it being monthly, and the winners of all months go in a head-to-head speed build, and the winners gets (x)

I was thinking there'd be like a .000001% chance of getting a random piece of gear or item every time you break a naturally generated block, kinda like digging up a fossil or buried treasure.

Can we possible get this in Beta? I have no idea how to code plugins but I would love for this to be a thing, we can bring out new ideas and check for bugs as we go a long.

This might just be the D&D /tg/ nerd in me talking, but it'd be cool if there were different classes to pick. It'd essentially replace the McMMO thing with something not-stupid. For instance, a wizard class might get spells like Blink (teleport), Detect Unseen (be alerted to hazards), and Fireball (Fireball. Duh.) while a Rogue would get skills like Dodge, Poison, or Pierce Armor. McMMO, to my knowledge, has no classes; therefore its main and only prerogative is to make the player all-around powerful. Having classes makes the player more powerful in certain aspects, but could also handicap them in others. (Magic users tend to be Glass Cannons while Warriors tend to be Mighty Glaciers or Stone Walls.) It's fine to reward players for playing. It's not fine to make players unbalanced.

(Sorry for all the long posts; I just get really fired up about game design and balance.)

Nothing to be sorry about, we need all the ideas we can get and your ideas really seem cool! The classes things seem cool but there needs to be a way to change classes, maybe everyone has a powerstone, and it can only be used for one class, you would have to go to station of some sort to change it's power.

Also about The PvP, I think we should habe a start city with houses like different shops in it, and then there is a big PvP-allowed Arena maybe? Also then there could be a warp added for it.
