Java Toggle party owner

Hey there!
I was just playing some EggWars with my friends when suddenly the owner of the party made me the party owner. At that time, I was busy reporting someone. I didn't know I was the party owner and it took a while for me to come back. My friends thought I was AFK (I basically was) so they left the party.

Now, there are some times that I just don't want to be the party owner, or I just can't due to being AFK in the lobbies. Could there be an option or command so you can not be set as party owner?

I don’t really agree. It just isn’t needed. If one makes another party owner, only need to do is say his name and he will get pinged. In don’t see the point in having a difficult solution to a simple problem.

Yes I fully understand. But please do understand people might be AFK so they can't be the owner of a party. Also, some people don't want to be the party owner, so it might be helpful to have a command or button to press so they can not be set as party owner.

I guess co-leaders should be able to join a game when the owner is afk. Also they should be able to invite ppl to the party. No more "hey can u invite qowjrgeiqpdu2846, pls?" messages

That is basically like a second party owner. Maybe co-leaders are the only ones to be able to become party owner. So if the owner wants to be afk or not to be the owner, they can only set the co as party owner. To become co-owner the real owner should invite you to be a co and you have to accept. But I think it will be best if Cube just added the feature I wrote above, because this will probably be too complicated, while having a single button to prevend you from being the party owner is much more simple.

No, I said I don't want to be the owner or I'm afk. The actual owner can make me the owner all they want, but I don't want it and I don't like it. Having a feature like I mentioned above is good in that case.

Then you say that you don't want to be the owner before you are afk, and check every now and then to make sure you aren't the owner. This is pretty unnecessary.

Saying I don't want to be the owner won't help in all cases. Also, I will have to tell this a lot. As I said, it will only make it easier for people. You might not have this problem, others might. Its just annoying to keep switchin owner if you don't want to be the owner.

Haven't you ever heard of the Marco / Keybind mod? This could help you. You can send messages by pressing certain key combinations, so you won't have to send messages over and over again :]

Yes thats true, however not everyone can install/use those mods. Having a command or something would help those people.

I predict that if Cube really implements this feature you are suggesting, almost nobody wants to be a Party Leader anymore. Why? Because most people are too lazy to join a game in parties. I'm not saying that anybody is lazy here, but I know there are a lot of people out there who are and who use parties to be lazy and to do other stuff until they hear the sound of the starting game. Maybe I'm a simple person, but if you want to go AFK then just say it and leave the party or just go offline.
If you want a party that badly then you must communicate with each other and if someone is AFK suddenly then I have no mercy and I will kick them until I get a message that the player is back. I also just leave the party when the Party Leader suddenly decides to go AFK. That's the risk you take.

Let's not make the Party-System too complicated. I remember that Cube didn't have a Party-System at all. When you had to communicate even more to get your team into the game by saying: 3-2-1-GO. Sorry I won't support any form of those type of suggestions.
